Vacation was more of a road-trip than a vacation. We drove to the start of the Trans-Labrador Highway in Comeau Bay (which I would have been able to travel on if I hadn't blown three days in the hospital), visited every Tim Hortons' we could find along the way, traveled on cool ferries while watching whales follow along side of us, eat great and had interesting converstations with frenchy people. Quebec's Old Town is gorgeous and I bet it must look incredible at Christmas time.
When we were at the Marimar Bay we spoke with a priest by the name of Father Bergeron who spoke barely passible English with an Scottish accent. He told me "Your name is Gagnon? Oh, so many of them here...everywhere!". Too bad I can't speak french.
On a side note, I was on a quest to see if we could find our family plaque that is dedicated to the original Gagnon brothers that came over from Franch, which I think is in St. Anne. We couldn't find it, so I guess I have to go back...
I know, I have to be patient, but it just ain't easy!
